Motorola is working on a real flagship with a 200 MP camera and the most powerful Snapdragon

Brand Motorola is working on a new flagship smartphone that should offer a 200 MP camera in addition to Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset. According to the portal SamMobile it will give him a competitor Samsung.

Motorola will use up to two Samsung sensors

It’s been three years since Samsung launched the megapixel camera race. At that time, it came up with the first 48 MP and 64 MP sensors on the smartphone market. Since then, the company has also launched 50 MP and 108 MP sensors. It recently even introduced 200 MP camera sensors. However, the first 200 MP ISOCELL sensor from Samsung should not use the company’s smartphone, but competing Motorola.

At least according to internal sources from the Chinese Lenovo, which owns the Motorola brand. In addition to the primary 200 MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor, it will also have a secondary 50 MP ISOCELL JN1 sensor from the same manufacturer. The smartphone is codenamed “Frontier” and is intended to be a higher version of the recently announced Motorola Edge X30.

What will be the next specifications of the upcoming flagship?

The complete upcoming camera should then consist of a 200 MP ISOCELL HP1 primary sensor, a 50 MP ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide angle sensor and a 12 MP Sony IMX663 telephoto lens. It should have a 60 MP Omnivision OV60A sensor on the front. There will be no competition in the total number of megapixel cameras at the moment. But whether that means the best photo quality on the market is another matter.

Motorola Frontier will also attract a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It will support 8 GB and 12 GB RAM, respectively, and 128 GB or 256 GB internal storage. There should also be a fingerprint sensor in the display, stereo speakers, fast 125 W wired charging and up to 50 W wireless charging.
