Major update reaches Nokia 6.2; October patch for Honor 20 Pro

Users of two models are presented with a new update. It is a new larger update for the Nokia 6.2 and the October security update for the Honor 20 Pro.

Nokia 6.2 gets update

The Nokia 6.2 is again updated by HMD Global with an update. A little over two weeks ago the phone was already updated with the November patch, but now there is a bigger update. Where the previous update was about 18MB, the device now gets an update of 229MB. We suspect that Nokia has made a lot of improvements and bug fixes with this update. The changelog shows that the security patch level will remain at November, Anton tells us.

Honor 20 Pro

There is also an update for the Honor 20 Pro, Marck let us know. The flagship of the Chinese manufacturer, released last year, will receive the October 2020 security update. So far, it seems that the takeover of Honor, which is now no longer from Huawei, does not yet affect the distribution of updates. Whether that will change in the future is not known at this time.
