Lilo – Your Internet searches serve useful causes
Lilo is a French and solidarity search engine, which donates 50% of its income to the associations of your choice. Internet searches generate money each year thanks to sponsored links and advertisements present at the top of each results page. In France, this represents for example the tidy sum of 2 billion euros per year…
Lilo has decided to develop a search engine that will allow you to regain control of this money by financing solidarity projects. Every month, 50% of the money generated by Internet searches is redistributed to solidarity projects. The other 50% are used for the proper functioning of Lilo.
Since the creation of Lilo, more than 3 million euros have already made it possible to finance solidarity projects.
You will choose the projects you wish to support. For example, you can choose to fight against deforestation in the Amazon, to help make the dreams of sick children come true or to protect the turtles of Mayotte from poaching. All the projects on Lilo have one thing in common: a strong social & environmental impact.
