The authors of the new UFL football have published the first shots -apkrig

Strikerz developers announced their upcoming UFL football simulation during last year’s The Game Awards. As was clear from the first information they provided in connection with the first teaser, UFL takes over the FIFA Ultimate Team mode concept from the Electronic Arts competition and builds a separate full-fledged game around it. The attraction is not only the use of the Unreal Engine, but also the allegedly fair approach to the free to play payment model and other promises from the parties of top gameplay. Until now, however, these were only indications that did not give much space to a more meaningful debate about the possible qualities of the UFL, but yesterday evening, the wall of silence was finally broken by designer Eugen Našilov and the game was revealed in less than 20 minutes. We can look forward to it already during this year and it must be admitted that on a handful of available shots it looks surprising to the world.

Let’s start by saying that the game has been in development for six years now, which is information that was heard last year, but developers continue to operate it as proof that UFL is not in a hurry. The release date has not been set at this time, but people from the Strikerz studio have confirmed completion this year, and given the length of the presentation, it may be sooner than later. The game targets the PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles, is powered by the Unreal Engine and focuses on the content of the aforementioned Ultimate Team concept. But that doesn’t mean you always have to play online in ranked matches. It will also be possible to play modes for one, or not to participate in evaluated matches or, on the contrary, to play in two or three players controlling the whole team together. Following the example of the competitive FIFA series, you will create it yourself and gradually add new players and improve it.

Unfortunately, the most important developers from the Strikerz studio have not yet said – that is, how the system of recruiting new footballers and the very composition of the team, which is absolutely crucial for such a regime, will work and it is obvious that the developers are still finalizing it. In any case, you and a team of carefully selected players will have matches in individual divisions that affect matchmaking. It will be possible to descend from the individual floors of the competitions, but of course you can also get higher from them, which is the ultimate goal within each season. At this point, Našilov confirmed that they want to intervene in the set system as little as possible, so that players can get used to how UFL is played and can fully enjoy the whole process of learning and improving themselves. In addition, it will of course be possible to improve the strength of the entire team, adjust tactics and not forget the training, which will increase the personal statistics of each of your charges.

If you ask about the licenses, UFL will not be able to compete with the FIFA series, but also what is left after Pro Evolution Soccer. There will be only 8 real teams that will be in the game and will be used to select football players, or even to use their logos or jerseys – West Ham, Sporting Lisbon, Shakhtar Donetsk, AS Monaco, Besiktas Istanbul, Borussia Monchengladbach and a pair of Scottish legend Celtic and Rangers. The list of fully licensed footballers who also serve as brand ambassadors is similarly thin, including Oleksander Zinchenko, Romelu Lukaku, Roberto Firmino, Kevin De Bruyne and, last but not least, Cristiano Ronaldo. It is not certain at this time how closely they will be connected to the game, and as we stated a few lines above, we are still not clear on how it will be possible to get them and integrate them into our own whole. The remaining part will consist of 5,000 other footballers, who will most likely be represented only by their name and approximate, not faithfully scanned appearance.

As for the technical processing of the game and looking at a few shots directly from the digital lawn, the game works very well. The developers pay attention to details such as face scanning or television processing of celebrations and various venues. As well as focusing on match processing, fluency and believability of movements. Sure, until we have a UFL in hand, it’s hard to judge anything, but it’s clear that Strikerz doesn’t want to go against the flow unnecessarily and builds on what’s been working in competing games for years. This is certainly not a bad approach, and on the contrary, we welcome the disruption of the rather unchanging years, which Konami entered very notorily at the end of last year, thus helping to open the gates to other similar attempts, such as the UFL.
