Life after passwords: is this the future?

Everyone uses them: passwords. We are now getting lost in accounts and we need password managers to keep everything running smoothly. The future for the password doesn’t look bright as Microsoft, Google and Apple work on ways to log into a service without passwords. What’s up with that?
