John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have a baby via surrogate mother

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have become parents for the fifth time. A few months after the birth of daughter Esti Maxine, they now welcome son Wren Alexander.

Their fifth child was born with the help of a surrogate mother, Chrissy explains via Instagram. “Thank you for this wonderful gift you gave us, Alexandra.” The name of the boy is therefore a special tribute to the surrogate mother.

Not obvious

The model always dreamed of four children. But then disaster strikes in 2020: Chrissy and her partner John lose their third child, Jack, halfway through their pregnancy. Chrissy didn’t think she could ever get pregnant again. “I didn’t want to go through that pain and loss again. And so we contacted an agency that mediates around surrogacy.

The perfect match

Still, the desire to get pregnant again came. This was possible thanks to IVF treatments. During that pregnancy, from which daughter Esti was born, the couple came into contact with surrogate mother Alexandra. “I knew she was the perfect match.” And so half a year later son Wren was born. “Our hearts and home are officially full.”

Chrissy not only shares the special story, but also the first images of the little one. Wren clearly has the handsome genes of his parents and an already impressive head of hair.
