iPhone 15 Pro: the large photo block and thinner borders are revealed
New renderings reveal the iPhone 15 Pro and allow you to discover some details, in particular the photo block which will be even bigger and the borders around the screen which will be thinner.
The renderings of 9to5Mac show that Apple will further increase the size of the photo block on the back. It is already imposing on the iPhone 14 Pro and it will be even more so on the 15 Pro. The three photo sensors will be more essential, to the point where the lenses will be twice as thick as the current generation.
We also learn that the borders around the screen of the iPhone 15 Pro should be thinner. It’s about 1.55mm. By comparison, it’s 2mm for the iPhone 14 Pro. On the other hand, the front and rear windows have a subtle curvature of the edges, which integrates with the titanium frame of the smartphone. On this subject, the edges of the iPhone would be a bit more rounded for a better grip.

For the rest, we find the presence of the USB-C port which replaces the Lightning port. There’s also a unified volume button for volume and a button to mute. As a reminder, the volume button will not be mechanical, it will be flat but the iPhone will have haptic feedback so that the user knows that he has interacted well to raise or lower the volume.
Finally, a new red color should be available and the dimensions would be 70.46 x 146.47 x 8.24 mm. By comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro is 71.45 x 147.46 x 7.84mm.
