iPhone 13: Touchscreen Issues

As of this month, the Apple Store has four iPhones richer: the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Most users are enthusiastic about the new devices, but the first complaints are also trickling in online.

As noted by news site MacRumors some iPhone 13 users are having problems with the touch sensitivity of their new phone. For example, the iPhone wouldn’t always respond to “Tap to Wake,” where you tap the iPhone screen to wake it up.

An iOS 15 problem?

Incidentally, it seems to be a small group of iPhone 13 users and we have not had the problems with the touchscreen. And what is striking is that owners of older iPhone models also have to deal with a similar problem.

“Since iOS 15, there is a problem with the touch sensitivity of my iPhone 12 Pro Max,” write someone Twitter. “The device does not respond to a single touch as before, such as tapping to play a YouTube video, or when the iPhone is locked. Now I have to tap four to six times.’

So there’s a good chance it’s a software thing that Apple can fix in a future iOS 15 update. Incidentally, this is not the first software problem with the iPhone 13 (Pro). For some owners of the latest iPhones, it is not possible to unlock the device with the Apple Watch.
