iPhone 13 faster than Samsung Galaxy S22

The Samsung Galaxy S22 is a direct competitor of the iPhone 13. It is therefore logical that all kinds of websites immediately start with comparisons between the two smartphones. So subjected PCMag both devices to a number of benchmarks. Simply put, these are tests that determine how fast the processor is, among other things.

The A15 chip in the iPhone 13 Pro Max wipes the floor with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor that is in the American variant of the Samsung S22. In Europe, the S22 models run on Samsung’s own Exynos 2200 chip. It is very similar in speed to the Snapdragon.

In the Geekbench 5 program, the iPhone is about 30 to 40 percent faster than the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. This applies both when performing a single task and when running multiple processes, the so-called multitasking. When it comes to Machine Learning, simply put, a phone’s ability to learn and improve on its own, the iPhone ranks over 100 percent higher.

Apple is already working on the iPhone 14

Of course, a phone is more than raw computing power. Still, the difference between the iPhone 13 and the Galaxy S22 is remarkably large. Especially because Apple is already working hard on the successor to its current top devices. The iPhone 14 will be released in September, which runs on the even faster A16 chip.

The iPhone 14 promises to be the most spectacular leap forward in years. The smartphone may have a controversial design with two holes in the screen instead of the well-known notch. In addition, Apple will probably provide the iPhone 14 Pro with a new 48-megapixel camera. All that beauty must cost something. According to a rumor, the price of the iPhone 14 is going up considerably.
