OnePlus will not come with OnePlus 11 Pro for the time being

There is news to report about OnePlus. The manufacturer released the OnePlus 10 Pro at the beginning of this year. However, we should not expect a OnePlus 11 Pro in the coming months, as it becomes clear. What plans does the Chinese manufacturer have?

OnePlus 11 Pro is delayed

OnePlus has always released a regular and a Pro model in the high-end series from the 7 series. This happened in the spring. Since the OnePlus 3 series, a T series will also be released in the fall. That all changed with the 9 series, when we didn’t get to see the OnePlus 9T, for example. A OnePlus 10T appeared last August, but a regular OnePlus 10 was not released this year. It is not entirely clear which way OnePlus wants to go exactly, and it is not becoming clearer for next year either. In any case, there is now more news to report about the OnePlus 11 series. At the end of September, the OnePlus 11 Pro specifications already appeared online. In this case it may be the non-Pro model.

The information about the OnePlus 11 series comes from Max Jambor, a source within the smartphone world. He reports that the next OnePlus Pro model will be named OnePlus 11. According to him, it is unclear whether we will see another OnePlus 11 Pro in 2023, but this will not happen in the first quarter of next year anyway.

The reason for this is not clear. We can say that unlike previous T models, the OnePlus 10T fell short in several areas. By not immediately adding the addition ‘Pro’ to the name, the company may not want to go big right away. It can also be seen differently. The parent company, BBK, seems to be paying less and less attention to OnePlus. The Hasselblad branding is now used by Oppo and the once unique OxygenOS skin is increasingly bundled with Oppo’s ColorOS skin.

When we can expect the new OnePlus 11 exactly is not clear at the moment. We expect the device sometime early next year.
