Marvel’s Avengers from Crystal Dynamics developers do not want to give up and announce more news. The game finally arrives on the next-gen console and sees a new hero, Hawkeye. It will happen on March 18, announced the company Square Enix, which is the publisher of the game. Players who own the PS4 and Xbox One versions can upgrade to the PS5 and Xbox Series, respectively, for free. Of course, you will also transfer your progress.

The new playable hero Clint Barton alias Hawkeye will be available for free on all platforms.

Avengers on the new consoles promise higher framerate, more detail and 4K resolution on PS5 and XSX and 1440p on Series S. Of course, faster recording, higher resolution textures, longer rendering distance or better destruction. In addition, the game supports cross-gen play, so gamers on the PS5 and PS4 can continue to play together, and it works the same way on Xboxes.

The new playable hero Clint Barton alias Hawkeye will be available for free on all platforms, and in addition to his unique abilities, players can also enjoy new content or other chapters of the Avengers Initiative story.

You can play new missions solo or with up to three other friends. Hawkeye is looking for SHIELD leader Nick Fury who could help stop AIM. At the same time, he himself is caught in a time experiment and sets out for the future, where the Earth is destroyed. Here he comes across an older and evil version of the Hulk known as the Maestro.

The story follows the events of the previous chapter of Marvel’s Avengers Operation: Kate Bishop – Taking AIM, which was released last December. Of course, other heroes and their stories are on the way. Probably the biggest passion was aroused by Spider-Man, who will be exclusive only to PlayStation.
