Huawei smartphones on the verge of extinction? China manufacturer speaks plain language

Huawei has not had an easy time of it in the past few months. The Chinese company has suffered massive losses in smartphone sales, although you are not responsible for it yourself. The current numbers give rise to speculation that Huawei is leaving the smartphone market. Is that really the case?

Huawei wants to continue to offer smartphones despite losses

Huawei’s business figures look disastrous. The Chinese company has im Consumer business a decrease of nearly 50 percent have to lose compared to the previous year. This is particularly due to the fact that smartphone sales have fallen sharply. Even the recently introduced high-end smartphone P50 Pro will not bring any improvement, because it lacks essential components to keep up with the competition. At the moment it is not even clear when and whether the smartphone will come to Germany. Without Google services, there would be little chance of selling well anyway. The question arises, of course, whether you can go on like this?

Noisy GizChina Huawei will stick to the development of new smartphones and even solve the current problems. Already in the coming year new cell phones with 5G modems appear again. The Huawei P50 Pro is only available with a 4G modem. In addition, the availability of other components should improve by then, as Huawei itself is investing heavily in the supply chain in order to position itself more independently. With HarmonyOS you also have a competitive operating system that can not only compete with Android, but also iOS. So Huawei doesn’t want to give up, but rather come back stronger than it was before.

In this video you can see what makes HarmonyOS so special:

Huawei far behind in China

The numbers in China also show that Huawei has a rocky road ahead of it. The company was still a leader there months ago, but is now Huawei no longer even in the top 5 listed by smartphone manufacturers. It doesn’t look much better in Germany. Even OnePlus is now more popular than Huawei. Xiaomi is gaining market share bit by bit and could soon become the largest smartphone manufacturer in the world.
