Huawei: How is the HMS ecosystem and what are the plans for the future?

1. More than 5.1 million registered developers (+ 155% year-on-year)
2. 173,000+ integrated HMS Core applications (+ 81% year-on-year)

The Petal application series is developed according to user needs

Huawei Ads is an advertising partner program for agencies throughout Europe

Another successful product of the ecosystem is the advertising program Huawei Ads. It is now available to media agencies and application publishers around the world. Huawei Ads gives advertisers the ability to choose placements within the Huawei ecosystem, including direct device placements, custom placements in the AppGallery, as well as new Petal Search ads and image ads in Huawei and third-party applications.

Tools like Smart Bidding, Smart Banners, along with one-click installation links give advertisers better control and production options to maximize investment turnover. Huawei Ads also offers partners an incentive program, including a free trial, early launch incentives, and premium media resources for direct advertisers and certified agencies in Europe.

New packages to support developers

A whole range of functions HMS Core will allow developers to create quality applications with contextual solutions for multiple smart devices, including smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, wearable devices, and audio products. These features can also be used to build applications running on Android, HarmonyOS, and iOS using cross-platform development frameworks such as React Native and Cordova.

Huawei has also announced several support programs that will be offered to individual developers in Europe, such as Huawei Student Developer (HSD) and Huawei Developer Group (HDG). These communities evolve by sharing knowledge about emerging technologies and seek to support other developers in creating new and innovative applications.
