The OnePlus 11 is a new high-end smartphone from OnePlus and succeeds the OnePlus 10T. The OnePlus 11 has to build on three aspects: speed, practical design and the cameras. OnePlus says in a press release: “The fast, smooth performance is in the DNA of OnePlus. The OnePlus 11 5G continues its reputation as a pioneer in smartphone performance.”

Specifications and the black hole

There are three cameras on the back: a 50 MP main camera (sensor size 1/1.56”), a 48 MP wide-angle lens and a 32 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. OnePlus has once again entered into a partnership with Hasselblad for its cameras. Probably again only for the color calibrations of photos. The cameras can be found in a large black hole on the back of the phone. OnePlus itself calls it the ‘Black Hole look’. According to the Chinese manufacturer, the camera island is therefore inspired by black holes. Finally, unlike the OnePlus 10T, the OnePlus 11 has an alert slider.
