GTA San Andreas VR is done by the authors of the VR version of LA Noire -apkrig

It’s only been a few days since Mark Zuckerberg, as owner of Oculus VR, confirmed that a special VR version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is coming. It is a title that will be available exclusively on the Oculus Quest 2 headset, and according to Zuckerberg, fans will enjoy one of the best games in history in a completely new way. The announcement also said that the game had been in development for several years, and players logically asked who was behind the project. UploadVR magazine therefore provides an answer and identifies the Australian Videogames Deluxe team based in Sidney as at least partial authors. It is the same studio that also has a well-received VR version of LA Noire on its account, and it is remarkable that they talked openly about a possible connection with Rockstar in connection with another large brand during the last year.

In July last year, the studio informed on LinkedIn that after the completion of LA Noire: The VR Case Files, it is moving on to another project. Even before the article was edited to its current form, the people from Videogames Deluxe AAA open world called the Rockstar title a new project. Based on this, speculations arose about what could be this time, and as is the case in similar cases, the players guessed where what. Whether there was also a mention of a possible reworking of GTA: San Andreas, can no longer be easily verified retrospectively, but now all speculation has subsided. In a post on LinkedIn on yesterday, they confirm that “as announced at Facebook Connect, they are moving towards the development of a VR version of one of the world’s most beloved games”, which is a clear signal that they will be at least partly responsible for San Andreas VR.

Videogames Deluxe is looking for new employees for this account, specific advertisements – which could potentially reveal more – but are not currently listed. However, it may be interesting that Videogames Deluxe is a de facto graveyard for the already dissolved Team Bondi studio, which was working on the original version of LA Noire. It was founded eight years ago by Brendan McNamara, a former creative director from Team Bondi, and since then he has worked exclusively for Rockstar.
