‘iPhone 15 (Plus) gets a different back and a new color’

The iPhone 15 (Plus) gets the same luxurious back as the iPhone 14 Pro (Max). In addition, a new color is coming, but which one will it be?

iPhone 15 gets a new back

According to the latest rumors, the iPhone 15 (Plus) will have the same back as the iPhone 14 Pro (Max). Where the regular iPhone 14 still had a glossy glass housing, the iPhone 15 (Plus) gets the same matte housing as we know from the iPhone 14 Pro (Max). We will probably no longer see the shiny housing of the iPhone 14 in the iPhone 15 series.

The regular iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus feel a lot more luxurious due to this new material. The phones are very similar in design to the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max, especially now that the Dynamic Island is also coming to the regular iPhones. The iPhone 15 also resembles the iPhone 14 Pro on the inside, because the new iPhone 15 will probably have the same A16 chip.

New colors iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro

If we are to believe the rumors, the color of the housing of the iPhone 15 differs from the iPhone 14 Pro. The iPhone 14 Pro (Max) is available in a deep purple color, the iPhone 15 gets a completely different color. You will soon be able to buy the iPhone 15 in cyan, a blue-green color. This color is said to resemble the iPhone 12’s green hue.

The iPhone 15 Pro also gets a new color. According to the latest rumors, this special color on the iPhone 15 Pro is a dark red color, a kind of burgundy. The iPhone 15 Pro is also likely to be available in silver and space black, just like the iPhone 14 Pro. It is not yet clear whether the iPhone 15 Pro will also have a gold version.

iPhone 15 Pro gets a new housing

The fact that the housing of the iPhone 14 Pro is coming to the regular iPhone 15 may indicate that the iPhone 15 Pro will also receive a completely new housing. Rumor has it that this year’s iPhone 15 Pro models are the first iPhones with a titanium housing. This marks the end of the stainless steel era that began with the 2017 iPhone X.

Several sources have now said that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will get a new titanium design. It was reported, among others, by Apple leaker ShrimpApplePro. Also Apple analyst Jeff Pu van Haitong International Tech Research confirmed this rumour. In this way, Apple can still make a clear distinction between the housing of the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Pro.
