Google Tasks has a new icon. Do you like it?

It’s been a long time since Google has updated the logos for Workspace applications, but has skipped them for some reason Google Tasks. That is now changing and you are also getting a new icon. Like Calendar, Disk or Gmail, the icon is now even more minimalist, and we personally like the old one more. But in the end, we will all probably get used to it.

Google Tasks has a new icon

It is basically a circle with a check mark. The entire logo is traditionally blue, and Google itself said that we will see the new logo not only on mobile devices, but also in the Gmail web interface. Like the others Gogole application Google Tasks can be expected to receive an updated Material You design, which brings support for dynamic colors (so far only on Pixel) as well as new rounded buttons. This update should be available already September 23.
