Play Points in Belgium

Since January this year we can use Google Play Points in the Netherlands. This is a savings system from Google for the Google Play Store. You can earn points with everything you buy in the Google Play Store. Not only for new apps, games, books and movies, but also for in-app purchases. The Google Play Points can be used for special items in games, or as credit for the Google Play Store.

Depending on how many points you have, you can also move up in levels. In a higher level you earn even more points with every euro you spend. You can sign up for Google Play Points via the web version of the Google Play Store, but once available also in the Play Store app.

Simon informs DroidApp that the Google Play Points can now be used in Belgium. The functionality is rolling out as of now, so it may take a while before it’s available to everyone.
