Google has significantly improved its weather widget

Do you like up-to-date weather information and, if necessary, a forecast, how will it be in an hour or two? Then you have, among other things, probably a widget on the screen of your smartphone that will tell you all this. Ideally, everything at once, without the need to open the entire application window. Basic Google applications are now among the tools that can do this. With the transition to the design style Material You gained possibility to take up more space on the display (4 × 2 fields) and also offers a very useful line with further information.

In the newly created space, a more detailed forecast will just be mentioned, which will show the estimate weather for the next four separate hours. The information will include not only the temperature but also the probability of precipitation. It is nice shift from the current state, when the forecast is available only for days and only with temperature and clouds.

If you are not sure which widget it is, then this is the one that offers basic Google applications. It is therefore commonly available in the vast majority of Android phones without further installations. The new look is currently tied to the beta version of the application for Android 12.
