first visuals and new fast charging technology

New images of the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition have leaked. We now know more about the next phone of the Chinese brand. According to several sources, OnePlus is expected to officially present its flagship smartphone in the days that follow.

This leak is due to Ishan Agarwal. The leaker shared the series of renderings on his Twitter account. Agarwal has not been very active in recent months, but it remains a reliable source in terms of leaks. His revelations have always been true in the past.

What do the new images show? No revolution in design. The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition has on its facade the small notch shaped teardrop. The borders are almost nonexistent on the sides, and the band at the bottom of the screen is still thin. Notable changes are on the back of the device. We notice indeed an orange finish on the slices. In addition, on the back of this new version of the OnePlus 6T is the logo of the car manufacturer, McLaren.

The series of renderings also gives some indication of the likely characteristics of the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. The latter should be the first smartphone of the Chinese manufacturer to ship 10 GB of RAM. Note that the new device should keep the Snapdragon 845 chip of the current version of OnePlus 6T.

On the other hand, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will also benefit from a new fast charging technology. The Chinese brand will rely on the Warp Charge which is much more powerful than its predecessor, the Dash Charge. This new technology reduces charging time to just 20 minutes for one day of use.

Regarding the photo part, the front camera should have a capacity of 16 MP. At the back, there is a double 20 MP photo sensor. This is not the first time that a smartphone maker has teamed up with a car manufacturer since Huawei and Oppo had already done so with Porsche and Lamborghini.
