First real photos of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 appeared

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is very similar to its predecessor. This is apparent from real photos of the device, after renders appeared last month. It has a two-tone outer panel, a smaller screen on the outside and a vertical dual camera.

What is striking is that the hinge does not look very rigorously different from that of the predecessor, while there are many rumors that the Korean phone maker wants to change that. However, it seems as if the two screens are slightly closer to each other when the device is folded open. The metal part is also thinner.

The top part of the device is matte glass with glossy glass over the part of the screen. The fold is probably the biggest innovation. A video has also appeared, in which you can see, among other things, how different the fold is. It is not such a ‘hard’ fold, but a much more subtle one.

Z Flip 4 is expected to use a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and a battery of 3,700 mAh, which is a significant upgrade compared to Z Flip 3. That battery life left something to be desired: as if Samsung didn’t know yet. how it could best handle the battery situation with two screens. The storage is also rumored to be better, because it would be available in 512GB.

Samsung has not yet announced anything about the new folding phone. However, it is expected that the device will appear in August this year for a suggested retail price of around 1,000 euros.
