First details Motorola Razr 3 published; should be a high-end smartphone

With the first generation Motorola Razr in smartphone form, we didn’t really have the idea that we were dealing with a high-end smartphone. With the new Razr 3 due out later this year, that should be the case. Information has now surfaced about the device.

Razr 3 is going to be a high-end smartphone

Where the first Motorola Razr was not exactly a high-end smartphone, the new Razr must be. In 2020 the renewed Motorola Razr appeared in the Netherlands, of which DroidApp the extensive Motorola Razr preview appeared. However, it was not a great success here. In some countries, a 5G version of the phone also appeared that year. Motorola wants to take it bigger with a new model, with the name Motorola Razr 3 going around. The first Razr was equipped with a Snapdragon chipset from the middle segment.

The first generation Motorola Razr

The smartphone manufacturer will provide the new generation Razr with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset from Qualcomm. We also see, depending on the version chosen, 6/8/12GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB of storage space. The phone gets a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen that is foldable and delivers a Full HD+ resolution, along with a refresh rate of 120Hz. A secondary display can be found on the cover, about which further details are currently missing. The phone will be supplied with Android 12 at the same time and will also have NFC on board. There is talk of a 50-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens. The front camera must be a 32 megapixel sensor.

According to the source, Motorola plans to release the device widely. A European release is also planned. If we have more information, we will of course keep you informed.
