Find Zora Armor & Ancient Arowana

Repairing Zora’s Armor is a main quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. For this you will have to go in search of the Ancient Arowana. In this guide we will tell you where to find the fish and the remaining parts of the Zora armor set.

Find Ancient Arowana and repair Zora’s armor

When you reach the Zora’s village, Yona will ask you at the entrance to find Sidon, who is at Mipha’s site on the Thunderhorn, east of the village. Then talk to Yona again on the upper level of the villageto get the Zora Armor Repair main quest. In order for Yona to repair the Zora Armor for you, she needs an Ancient Arowana.

You can pick up a hint for the location of the fish on the lower level of the village from the blacksmith Dento. So you have to go to Mipha’s place, where you have to go anyway. However, the ascent is difficult on the normal route. With a bit of luck, a rock will fall from the sky, which you can use as a lift with the help of time reversal. Otherwise you can of course also build a vehicle such as a hot air balloon.

Arrived at Miphas site you walk up the long water staircase to the south to the Cape of Trials. Ancient Arowans are swimming around in the fountain, and you have to catch one of them. Bring the fish to Yona and you will get the Zora armor. With this armor it is possible to swim up waterfalls. This ability is very useful for your following tasks.

Finding Zora’s Helm (The Endless Teach-On)

After completing the Water Temple, you can get the other two armor pieces of the Zora Armor. There are two new side quests for this, but you don’t necessarily have to accept them. To get the Zora Helmet side quest (“The Endless Teach”), talk to Hifumi in Zora’s Village.

The treasure chest containing the Zora Helm is hidden on the Island of the Scale Dance. This is the skyfish island east of Mipha’s site that you should already be familiar with. There is a secret passage behind the broken fin on the north sidewhich leads to the treasure chest.

Find Zora’s Legguards (Sacrifice for Friendship)

Talk to Yona in the Zora’s Village to receive the Sacrifice for Friendship side quest. According to this, there is said to be a treasure in the Ancient Zora Sanctuary, which is the Zora Leg Armor.

You’ve also already explored the Zora Sanctuary, which is located under the Eastern Reservoir. There is no more water in the large section of the sanctuary, so you can discover a hole in the ground in the back corner. Jump down and examine the cave.
