Astrophotographer snaps impressive photos of the sun

Astrophotographer Andrew McCarthy will not soon forget these images: he managed to capture a huge plasma storm on the sun. The solar storm, reminiscent of a tornado on Earth, is said to have extended over 120,000 kilometers, according to NASA. For comparison: the earth has a diameter of around 12,700 kilometers.

The plasma tornado is said to have lasted for three days, and McCarthy took about 200,000 photos of the sun during that time. The most detailed image of our sun to date is to be created from all these photos. According to McCarthy, he has been working on the compilation for days.

Hyundai introduces charging robots for electric cars

Hyundai promises to make EV charging easier and more convenient, “especially in dark environments” and for “people with mobility impairments.” The charging station can work not only in covered charging parks, but also outdoors.

The robot will be on display at the Seoul Mobility Show from March 31 to April 9.




Test: GPT-4 is more prone to misinformation than GPT-3.5

GPT-4 is out and has been in ChatGPT since last week. However, a test by the US organization Newsguard shows that the latest version is possibly more prone to misinformation than its predecessor. Accordingly, the current AI has greater problems recognizing proven misinformation than GPT-3.5. At the same time, however, it provides more detailed texts that can contribute to the spread of misinformation. So conspiracy theorists should enjoy it.

OpenAI seems to be aware of the problems. The ChatGPT mother has noted a certain “credulity” towards “substantiated misinformation” in GPT-4. Therefore, the AI ​​is at greater risk of being used to distribute misleading content.
