1- ChargeMap

Unsurprisingly when we dissect his name, ChargeMap allows you to find electric vehicle charging points near you. For each, you will find the feedback that other users have left on the experience. Thus, you will have available information about charging speed, price, proposed plug style and anything else that may be useful to you. 450,000 charging points are listed throughout Europe and you can even calculate your route in relation to it. You will then have a travel plan with the stops you will have to make to reach your destination. The closer the terminal is to your itinerary, the more money you save…

Finally, if your car is equipped with the Android Auto system, you can access ChargeMap directly on your dashboard.

2- Plugshare

Let’s not go four ways, Plugshare offers almost the same thing as ChargeMap with a few options. You can indeed already get in touch with other owners of electric vehicles to discuss plug and others. But above all, the facilities map does not stop at Europe, but covers the whole world. It is therefore a very useful application if you find yourself driving such a car in the United States for example.

3-Chargeprice

Chargeprice also offers a list of nearby charging stations with a specialization in prices. You will be able to know these with live updates from users. You can then calculate your future expenditure and make the choice of the most economical terminals.

4- Cocoparks

If you want to find the best parking spaces – underground or on the street – that will allow you to charge your car at the same time, head to Cocoparks. The application has all this information and will give you more the availability of terminals. You will therefore not have the unpleasant surprise of going to a place already taken. The app currently covers the cities of Paris, Bordeaux, Nice, Nantes, Rennes, Lyon and Marseille. You can even pay for your parking directly in the app.

5- Jedlix

Jedlix is an application that allows you to intelligently charge your electric car that will need to be connected to it. It’s up to you to decide when you’ll be using your vehicle and what level of charge you’ll need. The program takes care of the rest and plans things out for you so that recharging is done at off-peak times when the energy is at the lowest price and the cleanest. Jedlix has in fact developed an algorithm that allows the vehicle, once plugged in, to communicate with the electricity grid manager so that charging is triggered at the most appropriate time.

Small significant bonus, you are rewarded in return for its use since you will receive 2cts/kWh by transfer between 5 and 30 €. The only downside is that Jedlix only works on models from the Tesla, BMW, Audi and Jaguar brands. (Yes, owners of this kind of car often need the $5 back at the end of the month.)
