Free fixes some problems on these Freebox Revolution, Pop, Delta, mini 4K and One

Only a week after having released version 4.5.1, Free has just deployed a new server update for its Freebox Revolution, Pop, Delta, mini 4K and One. Nothing essential in this update, the operator being satisfied to correct some minor problems.

While Free subscribers have recently been able to try their hand at VoLTE in beta, Free continues to deploy server updates to its Revolution, Pop, Delta, mini 4K and One Freeboxes. With this version 4.5.2, the operator unfortunately does not integrate major functionalities. The company is content to resolve a few problems reported on the boxes mentioned above. • Fixed a bug that caused the Femtocell to freeze in “Start in progress ”
• On Freebox Delta, the 10G connection could be displayed in 1G in the interface
• Freebox OS might not work in some cases
• Ability to add a VPN user
• It is possible to format a drive in HFS +

As the operator specifies, users will only have to restart their Freebox server to download and install this update. The developers of Free also add “that a beta test is open to access the firmware with the functionality of saving the parameters of Freebox OS ”.

Free also updates its OQEE TV app

On the previous 4.5.1 patch, Free had also corrected some bugs, starting with the correction of the default sizes of some Freebox OS windows. In addition, the operator released this Monday, October 25, 2021 several patches for the OQEE TV application, which is none other than the TV interface launched by Free in July 2020.

The application available on tablet and smartphone under Android and iOS notably allows access to the Free channel package on a secondary screen easily and quickly. It now allows the video player to resume playing where you left off when you closed the app. This patch has also been deployed on iPhone and iPad and incorporates the same changes.
