The controversial Netflix series Dahmer – Monster: The Story of Jeffrey Dahmer is really popular with viewers. Many will have thought about going Halloween as Jeffrey Dahmer. But eBay doesn’t believe in that at all. Appropriate Costumes may not be offered on the platform. According to reports, the first offers in the USA have already been removed (source: Mashable).

The online marketplace is likely to do so refer to their own policy, according to which the offering of objects that have been “closely linked to violent criminals, their acts or crime scenes in the past 100 years” is prohibited. Dahmer murdered at least 17 young men between 1978 and 1991.

Other examples in the USA show that eBay is serious about the directive. costumes too Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy or the Zodiac Killer are not to be found. Even with the German version of eBay, a sample does not produce any hits.

In the USA, the Dahmer series was extremely well received from the start.
