Photoshop has launched a new beta, in which some really cool features have been added. It will soon be possible to edit photos using AI. It is often still difficult to edit photos really well in Photoshop, for which you need the necessary knowledge and experience. The new test version of Photoshop now changes that with AI.

You no longer have to edit the photo yourself as well as possible, but simply give the program a certain assignment. You select the area in an image that needs to be adjusted and type in what you want to change. Photoshop then executes that command itself, without you having to do anything else. This makes editing images much easier.

Find the AI ​​differences

It is still a test version of Photoshop, so the new function does not yet work flawlessly. The parts that have been photoshopped with AI often have a slightly lower image quality and are sometimes not quite right. Nevertheless, a lot is already possible with the new function. That’s why we tested it ourselves with the photo below. Can you see what has been modified using AI in Photoshop?

If you take a quick look at the photo, it looks like nothing has been edited. Still, you can see that a number of small edits have not yet been carried out perfectly, especially if you zoom in properly on the photo. For example, AI often has difficulty creating hands and some transitions are not realistic. Have you spotted all the edits?

With the new AI function in Photoshop, a lot has been adjusted to the image. We list all the edits and adjustments for you:

The new version of Photoshop will make it possible to edit photos much better. Moreover, working with photos will become much more accessible, because AI makes it a lot easier. That will of course also present the danger, because you will then hardly see the difference between edited and unedited photos.

At least we don’t have to worry about that for now – AI especially has trouble with the details when editing photos.
