With Midnight Mass, Netflix brings together a veteran filmmaker, a secluded island, scary phenomena and a mysterious priest. So deadly.
Netflix is dropping a trailer of a brand new series this week. Midnight Mass could just become the new horror topper of the streaming service. In any case, it has all the ingredients for a blood-curdling, wonderfully looking away Netflix show. But then you have to dare to look.
Netflix Midnight Mass
Netflix’s Midnight Mass is set on a small island where at first sight a community dwells peacefully. Then a mysterious priest shows up and the proverbial mess breaks out. Of course, that scenario is the perfect reason for the adventurous binger to turn on the TV; exceptionally bad things are going to happen on the island. Think of strange, terrifying phenomena that cannot be explained at first glance.
The series is created by Mike Flanagan, a well-known name among horror fans. Flanagan recently made the wildly popular series The Haunting of Hill House and he co-wrote the The Shining sequel Doctor Sleep. Now Netflix is giving him another big buck for Midnight Mass. The show can be seen on the streaming service from September 24.
