Daughter Maartje Paumen taken away by ambulance: ‘Please never do this again’

The five-month-old daughter of former hockey star Maartje Paumen and her fiancé Savannah was taken away by ambulance twice last weekend. The little girl is doing well now, but the scare was good.

Savannah shares her story on Instagram.

“Dear little girl.. please don’t ever do this again. You scared us this weekend. An ambulance was at the door twice. The second time was really the very last time! Our little darling is doing well now, really very well and that is all we want to share about this. We have never had to call 112 in our lives and we never intend to do this again.”

Healthcare heroes

Savannah writes to be grateful for the healthcare staff. “We think our heroes, because they really are, deserve a little more attention and love.” She continues: “We are so grateful for the help we received from the lovely lady on the phone who stayed on the phone until the ambulance team arrived to the paediatricians and all the assistants who were there for us. Be kind to these people, each and every one of them deserve that.”
