Create your own ZigBee gateway
ZigBee is an interesting wireless mesh protocol for home automation devices, used by Philips Hue and IKEA Trådfri, among others. With Zigbee2MQTT and a ZigBee transceiver, you can turn a Raspberry Pi into a ZigBee gateway. By using MQTT, you can also easily integrate all your ZigBee devices with all kinds of home automation systems, including Home Assistant.
