cool apps and more for the Apple Watch

The latest update for the Apple Watch has only just come out. But a new concept shows what Apple is (hopefully) up to with watchOS 10 on the Apple Watch! Apple, are you watching?

Read on after the ad.

Apple Watch: watchOS 10 concept

Just like the iPhone, the Apple Watch also gets a new update with some regularity. WatchOS 9 was recently released and with it many nice functions for athletes were added. The update is especially interesting for runners, because the Watch provides more insight into how efficiently you run.

Parker Ortolani (of news site ‘the Verge’) has now created a watchOS 10 draft and is trying to predict what Apple is up to with the Apple Watch. Especially the new sports results app, an app for the recovery time when exercising and the new home screen stand out.

Dedicated sports scores app

Parker has created a special app (‘Sports’) for sports results in the watchOS 10 concept. With this you will immediately see when your favorite team has scored a goal (or if a red card is given). The best part is, of course, that you can always view the final scores very quickly.

watchOS 10 draft: Apple Watch gives recovery time

The Apple Watch and the Apple Watch Ultra are of course the ultimate sports watches, but there is one important feature that is missing. The Apple Watch does not give you information about your recovery time. This is the time your body needs to recover after exercise.

In this watchOS 10 concept, that changes, because there’s a ‘Rest Mode’ app that helps you with that. The app then indicates exactly when you should take a day of rest, for example.

Also for the Apple Watch Ultra

Parker also has a nice idea for the Apple Watch Ultra in this concept for watchOS 10. A new ‘Explore’ app shows you interesting walking or cycling routes. In addition, the Apple Watch Ultra has also received a Safari app, which makes use of the large screen.
