Arrests after burglary on Netflix Lupine

Ironic. A series about a master thief was himself the victim of a theft. On the set of Lupine, the well-known French series from Netflix.

Hoppa, an all-new season of Lupine is currently in production. We say hoppa, because the French series is one of the top shows on Netflix. The quality is high and the series is therefore very entertaining to watch. Unfortunately, a bad event happened a few weeks ago.

Lupine, a Netflix exclusive show, was the victim of a robbery. That happened on February 25. As many as 20 individuals managed to break into the set of the show in Paris. They managed to loot about 300,000 euros in stuff. No one was on set at the time of the break-in. This allowed the burglars to proceed undisturbed. The good news is that no one was injured.

And there is more good news to report. Almost a month after the robbery, arrests have been made by the French authorities. Seven of the 20 suspects have been arrested. They are charged with organizing armed robbery and organized crime. Some of the loot has now been recovered. Police are still looking for the rest of the stolen items and the other suspects. (via BBC)
