HBO Max is an American streaming service and offers content from HBO, Cartoon Network, DC and Warner Bros. The streaming service also has its own productions under the name Max Originals. Market researcher Telecompaper expects that 200,000 to 250,000 households in the Netherlands will take out a subscription to HBO Max in the first months after launch: “Interest is greatest among 25-35 year olds: 12 percent in that age group indicate that they intend to to take out a subscription to HBO Max, which also explains that the purchase intention is above average (9%) among T-Mobile subscribers, who are relatively younger than Ziggo and KPN subscribers.” Last year it was announced that more and more Dutch households are stacking streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime and Videoland.
