April security update now available for Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S10 series

Four Samsung devices are updated with a new security patch. The April security update is now rolling out for the Samsung Galaxy S10 series and the Galaxy S21 FE.

Recently, the necessary Samsung devices have already been provided with the latest update of the April 2022 security update. Now it is time for the next batch of devices that are offered the update. It is striking that the Galaxy S10 series is also in between.

After the latest news, it was actually no longer assumed that an update would appear for the S10 series. Samsung has put the Galaxy S10 series on the back burner with regard to the update policy. This means that there will be fewer updates for that model. The update is in the S10 series first for the Galaxy S10e, the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ will follow in the coming hours and days.

Galaxy S21 FE

The other smartphone that will receive the latest security patch is the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. This smartphone will also be offered the more than 300MB major update. On top of the security patch from Google, Samsung has also added its own April patches. These address vulnerabilities in the Korean manufacturer’s proprietary software.

If you can download the update, a notification will appear on your device. You can also manually check for updates. To do this, go to Settings > Software Update and choose ‘Download and Install’.
