Apple updates its WWDC app: support for new iPad Pro, 3D Touch and adding a widget
Apple has updated its application WWDC on iOS ( Link App Store – Free – iPhone / iPad). This choice is interesting when we know that the next WWDC, which will be the opportunity to discover iOS 13, macOS 10.15, tvOS 13 and watchOS 6, will not take place until June 2019.
The update is an opportunity to have support for the new iPad Pro 11 and 12.9 inches that were announced in October and are available for purchase recently. The application adapts to screen sizes for better space occupancy. Apple also took the opportunity to add a new widget, accessible from the very left of the home screen with three videos from sessions of the WWDC. We also find this widget by making a 3D Touch gesture on the application icon. Only one video is put forward here.
Finally, the update is an opportunity to host a collection “Continue to watch” which, as its name l indicates, allows to resume a video where it left. It also includes other videos that can be played right after
The application WWDC is available for free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. It is especially interesting for developers to see all the free sessions offered by Apple.
