Apple is working on several game controllers
The company is taking more and more steps in the game world and is now busy making various game controllers.
The gaming industry is lucrative. It’s really a lot of money, but it’s hard to compete with the big boys. Apple is not a small company and is making strides in this business. It has filed patents proving that it will make game controllers.

The American company has been taking action in the game world for some time. Take Apple Arcade, for example. But really very active, no they are not. However, they are not sitting still, because several patents now show that they are working on game controllers.
The website Patently Apple discovered this. They describe three different types of controllers that work with an iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. The first reminds us of a Nintendo Switch, which you can also attach to the sides of your device. It consists of two separate parts. The patent states that it should work with both a horizontal and vertical iPhone. So you can use your smartphone as a console. That’s not new, but if Apple takes that step, we can expect a lot.
The second controller resembles a folio case. You can normally also store some cards in this. But Apple has added some buttons to it. What these buttons can do is still unknown.

The third controller is a classic variant for playing games. It looks like this controller is for Apple TV. With patents, the question is whether they will actually be built. However, the game world is such a big opportunity for the company that they will probably do something with it.
