Apple Watch will soon get watchOS 8.5
A week after the release of watchOS 8.4.2 for every Apple Watch user, and also a week after testing watchOS 8.5 beta 3, Apple is back with the next beta version. watchOS 8.5 beta 4 doesn’t have many exciting new features, but we’re one step closer to releasing a new software version for your smartwatch.
If the final version is released, it is recommended to install this update. This way, your Apple Watch is up to date and you also have any security updates.
WatchOS 8.4 already came out with few changes on January 26 this year. Apple did fix a small bug. The Apple Watch sometimes showed charging problems. This bug has now been fixed. WatchOS 8.5 also supports a new suite of emojis, which will also appear on all other devices.
The big watchOS update is almost here
WatchOS 8.5 Beta 4 is now available to beta testers along with iOS 15.4 Beta 4, a new macOS (12.3) and a trial version for the iPad (iPadOS 15.4 Beta 4). The latter will also support universal control (Universal Control) after this update. Apple also updates the software of the Apple TV and the HomePod.
