If you want to listen to your favorite station, you can of course turn on the (car) radio. You are then limited to the stations you can receive. With Replaio Radio, a (radio) world opens up to you.

Replaio

With the free Replaio app you have access to more than 50,000 radio stations from all over the world. Whether you want to listen to Omroep Brabant in Drenthe, from Zeeland to the German FFN or from Germany to the Swedish Mix Megapol; it’s no problem with Replaio. Not only well-known channels can be found here; you can also go here to discover new channels. For this you can go to the different categories; this way you can get an overview of the techno stations, but also dance, christmas, children, religious or one of the other many genres.

The home screen of the Replaio app may look a bit messy with a large advertisement at the top of the screen, but the operation is very logical. In the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen you can navigate to the search function or your favorite radio stations. Once you have found your channel? Then you can add it to favorites, but you can also add a song that is currently playing to favorites. A cool function that you can call up in the side menu is that you can see which tracks have been played in the past while the app is active. This list is also updated with tracks if you switch radio stations in between.

You can also adjust various settings in Replaio. Think of the stream quality and you can manually enter a url of a stream, so that you can listen to it via the app. You can also connect Spotify to Replaio, just like your Last.fm account so that songs can be scrobbled. You also have a choice of different theme colors; twenty pieces in total.

To sleep

Want to fall asleep to your favorite radio station? Replaio’s developers have thought of that too. You can set a sleep timer so that the music turns off automatically after a certain time. Do you want to wake up to your favorite station; then you can turn on the alarm clock with snooze function. There is also an equalizer and you can set reminders when your beloved radio program starts.

With the paid Premium version of Replaio you will no longer get advertising, you can choose from different types of widgets and there are station shortcuts. Replaio can (also in the free version) work with Chromecast and Android Auto. In addition, the app works well in combination with a Bluetooth speaker or headphones.
