Android 13 will be rolled out this month’

Users of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series should be able to expect the new Android version this month. It is now clear from sources that the three smartphones of the S22 series can expect Android 13 from October, what does this mean for the users?

Android 13 for S22 on the go

For a long time there have been reports about Android 13 and its testing for various smartphones. One of the manufacturers that is extensively working on the update is Samsung. Samsung will combine the update to Android 13 with One UI 5, the latest version of the brand’s own skin. Samsung has already released beta versions and test versions in several countries. Rumors previously reported that Samsung would start updating some Galaxy models to Android 13 from October 17.

The colleagues of Sammobile report that the Galaxy S22, the Galaxy S22+ and the Galaxy S22 Ultra can receive the update first. The rollout will start this month, they say. That does not mean that it is immediately available to every user. This is being done in phases, and therefore it can certainly take a while until every user sees the update coming in. Last year, the Android 12 update for the Galaxy S21 series appeared in the Netherlands in mid-November. There is a chance that Samsung will push the update for the S22 series to the smartphones in our country around November.

Android 13 with One UI 5 brings several improvements and optimizations. So you can find new customization options for further personalizing Android. For example, you have more color themes to choose from. Samsung has also made improvements to the widgets and fine-tuned the user interface. The camera app has also been overhauled and more attention has been paid to the privacy options and settings.
