Amazon sells hot devices that should not be missing in any German bedroom
Small television for little money: Prime customers are currently being offered several TV models at a heavy discount on Amazon.
“In-house” TV models: Amazon sells Fire TV-2 from 149.99 euros
Amazon not only sells smart speakers (“Echo”) and tablets (“Fire”), but also televisions. The models of the “Fire TV-2” series, which were only presented in March 2023, have already been greatly reduced (in the run-up to Amazon Prime Day). Sold like this Amazon the Fire TV-2 with a 32-inch screen diagonal now for only 149.99 euros instead of 279.99 euros – i.e. with a 46 percent discount.

Fire TV-2 (32 inch) from Amazon: What is the small TV suitable for?
“The Fire TV 2 series brings the Fire TV experience into every room thanks to a particularly attractive price,” says Amazon in the Press release about the presentation the in-house television. The statement can be taken literally, because it is above all that low price, which puts an exclamation mark here. When it comes to technology, you get an interesting one Mixture of entry-level features and proven Amazon functions. So the Fire TV-2 with 32 inches is a hot candidate for the role as a “second device” – so about for the bedroom, the hobby room or the mobile home.
Advantages:

Disadvantages:
- Resolution only 720p
- Image quality is just adequate
Understandably, you have to be able to live with some compromises in this price range. First and foremost is the meager image resolution of only 720p (“HD”), which is still manageable given the small screen size. Overall, the picture quality is far below the premium class: neither the brightness nor the contrast come close to OLED or QLED TVs. One Alexa voice remote control is included, but the digital assistant is only started at the push of a button and not by a simple shout. The range of connections is decent (2 x HDMI 1.4, 1 x HDMI ARC, 1 Ethernet connection).
The biggest advantage of this TV – besides the price – is the smart functionality. The Fire TV user interface is known from the sticks of the same name and offers access to all major streaming services (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube and more). All in all, not a TV for the big gaming or home cinema experience – but quite suitable for news, sitcoms and background music. Good to know: If 32 inches is too small for you, you can get it Fire TV-2 also with 40 inch screen diagonal. Above the Fire TV 2 series, Amazon also offers the better equipped Fire TV 4 (4K resolution) and Fire TV Omni (with QLED) series.
