If you are currently looking for a new smartphone that doesn’t cost much, offers a long update guarantee and has a large battery, then you can strike at Aldi this week. The Samsung Galaxy A14 is sold at both Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd.

Aldi is selling a Samsung cell phone for 169 euros

Aldi regularly sells Samsung smartphones. From May 25, 2023 you will get a new model with the Galaxy A14, which is sold for 169 euros (look at Aldi). This is a local offer that is valid in the Aldi Nord and Süd stores. The number of pieces could therefore be limited. An Aldi Talk SIM card with a credit of 10 euros is included. It is the LTE version.

Other retailers want around 180 euros for the same smartphone. Then the better 5G model, which is currently available, is more worthwhile is sold at MediaMarkt for 189 euros (look at MediaMarkt). Either way, both smartphones have not been on the market for long and are therefore covered by Samsung’s 5-year update guarantee. So you really have peace and quiet here for the next five years.

Unfortunately, the new Samsung cell phones also have a major disadvantage. They come without a power adapter. You have to optionally buy it cheaply from Amazon (look at Amazon). At least one cable is included.

What can the Samsung Galaxy A14 do?

The Samsung Galaxy A14 is a solid entry-level smartphone with 6.6 inch FHD+ display, an 8-core processor, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory. The latter can actually be expanded using a microSD card. There is a dual SIM function and a 50 MP main camera. In addition, the 5,000 mAh battery stands out, which in combination with the other equipment should offer a long runtime. If you want, you can even connect old headphones with a 3.5 mm jack plug.
