With these offers, the price drops almost to 0 euros

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is currently available in three inexpensive bundle variants. GIGA presents the current offers, reveals where there are pitfalls and has calculated where you can save the most.

If you order the Galaxy S20 FE (you can read the GIGA test here) in combination with a mobile phone contract, you can currently save a lot: three interesting bundle offers are currently available – in two of them the effective price is noticeable over the term less than 1 euro per month.

Bundle 1: Galaxy S20 FE at Saturn – 6 GB LTE included

Saturn offers the Galaxy S20 FE in all six color variants and with 128 GB of storage space. The tariff counterpart in the Saturn bundle is the green LTE 6 GB contract offered by mobilcom-debitel.

The details of the tariff at a glance:

  • Tariff: green LTE 6GB
  • Network: Vodafone
  • 6 GB LTE data volume (max. 50 Mbit / s)
  • Telephony: Allnet Flat
  • SMS: 19 cents per SMS
  • including EU roaming
  • 24 months minimum term, 3 months notice

There are two pitfalls that you should watch out for: SMS cost money in this contract, so if you still regularly send short messages this way, you should choose another offer. In addition, the price increases to 26.99 euros per month from the 25th month – so think about the termination in good time.

The following costs await you:

  • Basic fee: 24 × 17.99 euros per month
  • One-time device price for the Galaxy S20 FE: 29 euros
  • One-time connection price: 39.99 euros
  • Total costs after 24 months: 500.75 euros

If you subtract the costs that are normally incurred for the Galaxy S20 FE – it currently costs a little over 490 euros – this results in a price of just around 11 euros, over the contract period of 24 months 46 cents a month.

As long as you don’t mind the SMS price and the data volume, which is not too generous at 6 GB, you get an excellent bundle offer at Saturn.

Bundle 2: Galaxy S20 FE including Nintendo Switch Lite – 10 GB LTE included

Also at Saturn you get the Galaxy S20 FE with the Nintendo Switch Lite and a contract with 10 GB LTE data volume per month.

The following costs await you:

  • Basic fee: 24 × 24.99 euros per month
  • One-time device price for the Galaxy S20 FE: 49 euros
  • One-time connection price: 39.99 euros
  • Total costs after 24 months: 688.75 euros

The effective price can also be seen here: If you offset the price for the Galaxy S20 FE with 128 GB (approx. 490 euros) and the price of the Nintendo Switch Lite (approx. 190 euros), you get just 8.75 euros and thus hardly any 40 cents a month left.

With the tariff there is except for that larger data volumes no notable differences:

  • Tariff: green LTE 10GB
  • Network: Vodafone
  • 10 GB LTE data volume (max. 50 Mbit / s)
  • Telephony: Allnet Flat
  • SMS: 19 cents per SMS
  • including EU roaming
  • 24 months minimum term, 3 months notice

Here, too, it gets more expensive from the 25th month, the price then rises to 31.99 euros per month – so think about canceling in good time. Apart from that and the well-known restriction that there are costs for SMS, this bundle is also convincing. Alternatively, you can come here before booking opt for another contract: The bundle is also available with a tariff in the o2 network that includes 18 GB of data volume per month and an all-network flat rate for telephony and SMS. A telecom option is also available, here too there is a flat-rate telephony and 6 GB monthly data volume. There is no difference in price between the offers.

Bundle 3: Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy Buds + – 40 GB LTE included

The third bundle is available from Logitel: The Galaxy S20 FE with 128 GB of storage space is optionally available in combination with the Galaxy Buds + in-ear headphones or a 50 Euro Amazon voucher. This always includes a contract with 40 GB LTE data volume per month.

The details of the tariff at a glance:

  • Tariff: otelo Allnet-Flat Max
  • Network: Vodafone
  • 40 GB LTE data volume (max. 21.6 Mbit / s in download, 3.6 Mbit / s in upload)
  • Telephony: Allnet Flat
  • SMS: Allnet-Flat
  • including EU roaming
  • 24 months minimum term, 3 months notice

The following costs await you:

  • Basic fee: 24 × 29.99 euros per month
  • One-time offer price: 4.99 euros
  • Total costs after 24 months: 724.75 euros

If you offset the hardware costs of 490 euros for the Galaxy S20 FE and the Galaxy Buds + (they cost around 90 euros separately), the total price is 144.75, which is an effective price of around 6 euros per month corresponds. The bundle is therefore comparatively expensive – and while the data volume of 40 GB is very generous, the transmission speeds are modest. If you value high speeds, you should better ignore the offer, everyone else can grab it here.
