After Season 4 it’s over
At some point even the best series will be discontinued. Later this year it hits an excellent British TV series from Netflix. Their fourth and now final season finally has a start date. This means that the end of “Sex Education” is sealed once and for all.
“Sex Education” Demonstrably one of the best things currently on Netflix. The coming-of-age series starring Asa Butterfield and a wonderful Gillian Anderson as his mother premiered in January 2019. But after more than four years, it’s now time to say goodbye.
“Sex Education”: It ends in September
In a first short trailer for the fourth season of “Sex Education” Netflix finally reveals the start date. Fans of the series and those who want to become one should check out Thursday September 21, 2023 note (watch on Netflix).
But why won’t there be a fifth season? Producer Laurie Nunn states, “It wasn’t an easy decision to make, but as the themes and stories for the new season began to crystallize, it became clear that this was the right time to wrap it up.” TVLine).

Along with the series finale comes fans’ desire for Otis (Asa Butterfield) and Maeve (Emma Mackey) to have happy endings after all. But the fate of all the other characters is also important to the viewer.
How many episodes the fourth and final season will have is not yet known. So far, however, included 8 episodes each seasonso there are currently 24 episodes of “Sex Education”.
A must for Netflix viewers
They are definitely worth seeing, the reviews are clear. With an IMDb rating of 8.3, the series is definitely a must-see. Don’t worry: Even if it’s about the crazy world of teenagers, you don’t have to be one to enjoy “Sex Education”.
This excellent rating is then confirmed by the opinion on Rotten Tomatoes. The professional critics are closed 95 percent impressed by the series, with the viewers it is a comparable 92 percent.
In short: If you haven’t heard of “Sex Education” yet, you should take a look. Now even with the knowledge that it is no nasty cliffhangers after season 4 more on Netflix as the series comes to a reasonable conclusion.
