Nokia 5.4 official: everything at a glance
The Nokia 5.4 is indeed the successor of the Nokia 5.3 and has been improved on several points. Just like other devices from the manufacturer, the device runs on Android One again. Nokia still delivers the 5.4 with Android 10, updates to Android 11 and 12 will follow at an unknown time. The device will also receive security updates for three years. The hardware specifications in a nutshell:

Screen and cameras
The screen of the Nokia 5.4 is 6.39 inches in size and it has switched from a notch to a small hole in the screen. According to Nokia, this results in an even larger screen surface. It is a display with an HD + resolution of 1560 by 720 pixels, which with this size means that the image can sometimes appear a bit blocky.
The device has five cameras in total, including the 16-megapixel selfie camera. The main sensor on the back shoots images of up to 48 megapixels. For the rest, the 5.4 has a macro camera in front close-ups, depth sensor for portrait photography and a wide-angle lens of 5 megapixels on board.
Well-known combination of hardware
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 662 chip, which we also find in the Poco M3 or Motorola Moto G9 Power. There is standard 4GB RAM on board and at least 64GB storage. We also have a 128GB version on the market. With both versions this can be expanded with a memory card.
The battery is 4000mAh and charging is via the USB-C port on the bottom of the device. A headphone jack is also available. At the back you will find the physical fingerprint scanner and thanks to the Google Assistant button you can immediately use the smart assistant.
Availability Nokia 5.4
The entry-level model of the Nokia 5.4 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage has a suggested retail price of 199 euros and will be in stores from mid-January 2021. The model with 4GB / 128GB memory costs 249 euros, comes with a Nokia headset and will be available from the end of January. Both variants are available in two colors: dark blue and purple.
