Adobe Flash Player is over. We will remember him with a nostalgic feeling

Adobe Flash Player is, or rather, was a multimedia platform for animation. Once upon a time, you wouldn’t have run the vast majority of online games without Flash, and some ads on websites would not even appear. However, software giant Adobe is now completely removing support for Flash Player.

Adobe Flash Player will no longer be part of our computers

In February 2010, Steve Jobs, according to the PhoneArena website, reported to reporters that he did not plan to add Adobe Flash support for his iPhones and iPads. The reason was supposed to be above-average CPU load, poor optimization and various security holes. While testing Flash on the iPad, Apple noted above-average battery consumption. Jobs later also dare to claim that several problems with Macs are caused precisely because of this platform.

After all, Adobe itself has decided to completely end support for this program. He informed about it in advance and on some computers there was information that it is good to uninstall Flash Player from your computer before the end of support. It is dated January 1, 2021. In a few days, more precisely on January 12, all content running on Flash will be blocked.

HTML5 is an honest replacement for the late, multimedia platform

One may ask what will happen next. Well, as the genius Steve Jobs himself predicted, HTML5 is a full-fledged replacement for the legendary platform. Many of us will only mention the burgundy logo with the lowercase letter “f” nostalgically.

Interestingly, we would like to mention that for some time it was possible to install Adobe Flash Player on devices with the Android operating system. Some models even had Flash embedded in the system, such as the Motorola DROID or Google Nexus One. In 2015, YouTube also moved to a new standard – HTML5. Previously, it also worked on the platform from Adobe.
