According to Apple, your Android has almost no value. These are the prices at which it buys individual models

The “Old for New” event, which we know in Slovakia mainly from Samsung, also works in the USA and is backed by Apple. A new iPhone can be bought at a price that is reduced by the value of the old device. However, the purchase prices are ridiculous, informs XDA-Developers.

Apple has lowered such low purchase prices. For some more expensive models, it offers significantly less, for example, the Samsung Galaxy S21 + now buys for 325 USD, previously it was 435 USD. After converting to euros, you would get 383 euros for this well-equipped model from Samsung before the reduction of the purchase price and only 286 euros after its reduction.

The selling price of this model in Slovakia ranges from 759 to almost 1000 euros in verified stores. If you decided to sell it through a bazaar, you would get at least 500-600 euros for it, depending on the condition. The price offered by Apple is really ridiculous in this respect.

Not all old Android devices have dropped the purchase price offered by the American company so sharply. There are also models whose price has been reduced by only 10 or 15 euros, but they are still very low. For Google Pixel 4, the company will pay only $ 110, for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra you would get only $ 405.

Apple also buys older Apple products from users, in which case prices look much more attractive from the customer’s point of view. However, the source does not provide specific specifications for each model.

For example, for a MacBook Air, a customer receives $ 530, but does not specify a specific model (year and specifications). For a model from 2015, for example, it would be a great purchase price, but if it was the latest MacBook Air with a powerful M1 processor, the price would not be so affordable. It’s the same with other Apple products the company buys. These include:
