DynamicSpot is an app in which you have to set three things: which apps are allowed to send notifications within that island around your selfie camera, but also how that island should be located. After all, the selfie camera is not in the same place on every Android phone. This gives you the option to set how high and how much to the left or right that island should be placed. As you can see from the screenshots, the writer of this article didn’t do it justice, but luckily you can adjust that whenever you want.

In itself it works very well. The app can be downloaded for free from the Play Store and you only have to pay a few euros for certain options. However, it is certainly not necessary. You can also use it without spending a cent. If you receive a notification, it will appear as a black area at the top of your screen and you can tap it to open the relevant app. It works well, although at one point he had some trouble removing that rectangle when taking a screenshot. Furthermore, it works very well.

Dynamic Island

I wouldn’t necessarily use it myself, because I’m happy with regular notifications on my OnePlus (and, to be honest, I’m very used to that). Also, such a black area in your screen is not always useful: sometimes it takes up a lot of space, in addition to being very difficult to see if, for example, you use a black background. But: why would we nominate him for App of the Week? Well, it’s good that it’s there. There are probably people who don’t like the notifications on their smartphone at all and were very impressed by that dynamic island of Apple. For those people, this solution is fantastic.
