LK8000 – Flight Navigator
If you are an airplane pilot, glider pilot, hang glider and / or paraglider, you are probably familiar with the LK8000 flight navigator, an open-source project available on most platforms and translated into 17 languages. This browser is used in more than 67 countries, by several thousand pilots every day. Here is its port on Android, currently in Beta version.
LK can be used as a navigator for free flight (gliding, paragliding, hang-gliding), for light aircraft (general aviation), but also for trekking and off-roading. Maps of your country, as well as documentation, can be downloaded from the official website http://www.lk8000.it. Site where you will also find an active community offering support, advice, tutorials and news.
