Galaxy S22 battery capacity confirmed by another source
We informed you about a speculated battery in the upcoming Galaxy S22 some time ago and today it was confirmed by another source, namely the South Korean certification agency. According to it, the phone will use the battery marked EB-BS901ABY.
The battery in the Galaxy S22 will be smaller than you might expect
The SM-S901B phone, ie the classic version of the Galaxy S22, is supposed to use it and its capacity is 3 700 mAh, which is quite a big difference compared to the 4,000mAh battery in the Galaxy S21. So maybe Samsung knows what it’s doing. On the other hand, the phone should have a smaller display, which could compensate for the smaller battery. Specifically, it is supposed to be a 6.06 ″ panel and the Exynos 2200 is supposed to tick under the hood. It will also support only 25W charging, which is quite a bit for a flagship. So hopefully the South Korean company will be able to optimize everything well so that the phone will not achieve worse results than this year’s model.
How are you looking forward to the phone?
